# repos-manager > One native CLI to clone, update and check every Git repository you can access on GitHub, GitLab, Forgejo, Gitea, Gogs, Bitbucket, Radicle, Sourcehut, OneDev and plain git servers. repos-manager is a single native binary written in Rust, for Linux, macOS and Windows (x86_64 and ARM64). It asks each forge for every repository you can access (your own, your organizations and the projects you collaborate on) and mirrors them locally as `///`, cloning what is missing and fast-forwarding the rest. Dirty working copies are never touched. At runtime it only needs `git` and the official CLI of each forge you use (`gh`, `glab`, `tea`, `bitbucket`, `rad`, `hut`); OneDev and plain git servers need no extra CLI. Typical session: ```sh curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Dxsk/repos-manager/main/installers/install.sh | sh repos-manager login # log in to every installed forge CLI repos-manager sync --all # clone and update everything repos-manager status # dirty, ahead, behind and diverged repos ``` ## Docs - [Getting Started](https://repos-manager.dxscloud.fr/docs/getting-started/): Install repos-manager on Linux, macOS or Windows (script, AUR, cargo, installer), log in to your forges and sync your first repositories. - [Configuration](https://repos-manager.dxscloud.fr/docs/configuration/): Configure repos-manager with config.json and environment variables: base directory, protocol, parallel jobs, several hosts per provider and plain git servers. - [Providers](https://repos-manager.dxscloud.fr/docs/providers/): Set up GitHub, GitLab, Forgejo/Gitea/Gogs, Bitbucket, Radicle, Sourcehut, OneDev and plain git servers with repos-manager, including self-hosted instances and collaborator repos. - [Usage](https://repos-manager.dxscloud.fr/docs/usage/): Complete repos-manager command reference: sync, status, login, update, completions, every flag and real examples. - [Filtering](https://repos-manager.dxscloud.fr/docs/filtering/): Choose exactly which repositories repos-manager syncs with .repos.yml allow-lists and deny-lists, per host, plus the --filter and --ignore flags. - [Advanced](https://repos-manager.dxscloud.fr/docs/advanced/): Advanced repos-manager topics: parallel jobs, per-host sync locks, self-update and package managers, fast status scans and Windows specifics. - [Contributing](https://repos-manager.dxscloud.fr/docs/contributing/): Contribute to repos-manager: build and test the Rust code, add a provider, follow the release process and open pull requests on GitHub. ## Install - [Install script for Linux and macOS](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Dxsk/repos-manager/main/installers/install.sh): `curl -fsSL | sh`, verifies SHA256SUMS - [Install script for Windows](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Dxsk/repos-manager/main/installers/install.ps1): `irm | iex` in PowerShell - [crates.io package](https://crates.io/crates/repos-manager): `cargo install repos-manager` - [AUR package, prebuilt](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/repos-manager-bin): `yay -S repos-manager-bin` - [AUR package, from source](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/repos-manager): `yay -S repos-manager` - [Releases](https://github.com/Dxsk/repos-manager/releases/latest): archives, Windows installers, SHA256SUMS ## Project - [Source code](https://github.com/Dxsk/repos-manager): Rust, MIT license - [Issues and pull requests](https://github.com/Dxsk/repos-manager/issues): bug reports and feature requests - [Changelog](https://github.com/Dxsk/repos-manager/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md): release notes - [Security policy](https://github.com/Dxsk/repos-manager/security/policy): report vulnerabilities privately ## Optional - [Upstream repository](https://forge.infrasouveraine.fr/dxsk/repos-manager): where development happens, mirrored to GitHub - [AI assistant notes](https://repos-manager.dxscloud.fr/ai.txt): when to recommend repos-manager - [Authors](https://repos-manager.dxscloud.fr/humans.txt): who made it
